As a living museum we offer visitors the opportunity to experience old traditions first hand and to have a go themselves. We offer regular tours and participation events devoted to specific topics, both during the week and also as part of our ‘Sundays at the Museum’ programme. The programme includes ‘Meisterhaft!’ (Masterful!), ‘Handgemacht!’ (Handmade!), ‘Natürlich!’ (Naturally!), ‘Mahlzeit!’ (Enjoy your meal!), ‘Spiel mit!’ (Come and play!) or ‘Königsberger Strasse!’ and always gives visitors the opportunity to chat with our re-enactors. We also have plenty for children to do, with a special participation programme for them.
